Yas Point

Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

Yas Point is an AED 6 billion (USD 1.63 billion) waterfront district that Aldar unveiled on 10 July 2026 on the northern side of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The roughly 600,000-square-metre master plan combines a five-star resort hotel with about 1,600 branded residences, an international school, dedicated watersports and retail, dining and leisure space, and is planned to house about 5,000 residents. It sits near the sites of the planned Sphere Abu Dhabi and Disneyland Abu Dhabi and is the latest of Aldar's Yas Island projects. The first residential release, The Canopies (a six-building apartment community), generated AED 1.5 billion of sales at launch, with 84% of buyers new to Aldar. Aldar has not named the hotel brand or operator or given construction or handover dates.
