A geometric modernist house in the Joshua Tree Highlands, designed by Christopher Payne of FIN Architecture and completed in 2020. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and about 2,443 sq ft on 2.5 acres of native desert near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The angular form is clad in Cor-Ten steel panels and stucco, with windows and materials placed for thermal efficiency, and the house runs on solar power with Tesla Powerwall batteries for off-grid capability. There is a 2-car carport.
