Ryman Hospitality Properties acquired the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, a premier hospitality asset located on 402 acres in Phoenix, Arizona, for $865 million in June 2025. The property features 950 guest rooms, including 81 suites, and 243,000 square feet of meeting and event space, complemented by extensive amenities such as a 28,000-square-foot spa, seven dining outlets, a 140,000-square-foot water park, and two championship golf courses. Its strategic location in the Sonoran Desert positions it as one of the largest and most sought-after resorts in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area, serving both leisure and large-scale group events. Following nearly $100 million in recent renovations, the resort continues to operate under the JW Marriott flag and is now integrated into Ryman’s group-focused hospitality portfolio.
