The Knoll

The Knoll is a 25,437-square-foot Regency and Italianate-style mansion on a roughly 10-acre estate at 1130 Schuyler Road in Beverly Hills, built in 1955. The white-brick main residence sits north of Sunset Boulevard near Greystone Mansion and features groin vault ceilings, arched doorways and pillars, alongside a double-height foyer, double-height library, formal dining room and wine cellar. The estate has been owned by a succession of prominent figures, most notably oil billionaire Marvin Davis and his wife Barbara, and, since 2005, Harbor Freight Tools chairman and CEO Eric Smidt.
